Geoff grew up in the Pacific Northwest, before moving to the East Coast to complete high school outside of Washington, DC. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin at Madison, first earning his Bachelor’s Degree in the areas of Zoology and History in 2002, and then earning his law degree from his alma mater in 2006, graduating cum laude (with honors).
Fresh out of law school, Attorney Seufert served as a staff attorney for a non-profit Milwaukee-area agency representing indigent clients in family law, criminal, and civil disputes.
He went on to practice as an associate at a prestigious Waukesha-area family law firm for six years before starting Seufert Law, LLC in October 2016. He currently represents clients in family court matters throughout southeastern Wisconsin.
He also accepts court appointments from judges to serve as a Guardian ad Litem in custody and placement disputes involving children, and to serve as a Special Master to assist parties to settle disputes outside of court in an arbitration-style setting.
Geoff is the current president of the Society of Family Lawyers and the Collaborative Foundation of Wisconsin. He is also an active member of several professional organizations, including the State Bar’s New Lawyer Challenges Committee, the Collaborative Family Law Council of Wisconsin, the Leander J. Foley, Jr. Matrimonial Inns of Court, the Waukesha County Bar Association, as well as volunteering at his daughter’s school, the Waukesha County Family Court Legal Clinic and the community where he lives.
